about

I'm mostly a fingerstyle acoustic player. Existential Boogie started out as a strummy folk tune. At a song circle, Ken Gutberlet observed that, since it had the phrase, "existential boogie", it should be a boogie. It ended up as a full band country rock/boogie and I was told I'd need to wear a duster, a cowboy hat and cheap sunglasses to play it live.

It's bigger than big and wider than wide
It goes on forever and it never dies
You can't get in and you can't get out
and we're all part of it there is no doubt

Be Here Now., Be Here Now

It's the existential boogie, and it can't be beat
You can't dodge the logic, And you're in for a treat
It'll make your scalp tingle, make you wiggle your toes
If you abuse it, you will lose it, No one knows where it goes.

Be Here Now., Be Here Now

If woulda, shoulda drives you crazy then you're on the wrong path
trying livin in the present 'stead of living in the past.
The present is a present. We tend to ignore it
If you dismiss it you will miss just what we're put here for.

Be Here Now. Be Here Now

You can't Look to the future to avoid today
your life is right now, don't let it slip away.
Every beat your heart and every breath you take
happens for a reason and there are no mistakes.

Be Here Now. Be Here Now

If you're waiting for you're future and regret what you've done
Try living in the present it's a lot more fun.
If you spend your life right you can earn some respect
Everything you do has a cause and effect

Be Here Now. Be Here Now.

about

Ty Ford Baltimore, Maryland

Sound, light and matter are all energy at different frequencies.

I was curious as to how the frequencies of the colors of the chakras could be converted into frequencies of sound.

I was amazed when everything began to fall into place. I hope these soundscapes work as strongly for you as they have for others.
